The Eternals are among the most potent of all [[ideologue]]s in existence. Conceived of in the earliest moments of the universe's creation, they are sentient manifestations of primal forces that move the entire universe.

[[Eternal Death|Death]] represents the death of living things. All life must eventually end.

[[Eternal Infinity|Infinity]] is all space and all things. It is the sum of the universe and the expansion and growth.

[[Eternal Eternity|Eternity]] is the force of all life. Life gives the universe purpose.

[[Eternal Oblivion|Oblivion]] is entropy. All things must end or their existence is irrelevant.

There are other Eternals who represent powerful primal forces. Two of the best known are the [[Phoenix Force]] and [[Galactus]], who fulfill similar priorities necessary for the function of the universe.
