The Light Elves live in [[Alfheim]]. They are cousins of the [[Tuatha de Danaan]], and like many [[New Gods]] they are stronger and swifter than most humans. Elves have a somewhat higher natural propensity for magic than other races, due to their affiliation with the [[Fae realms]]. They are not as strong as the [[Aesir]] or as magically skilled as the [[Vanir]], but are very diverse as a group. Archery competition is considered a national pasttime. Lacking any major threats, Alfheim is a place of light and happiness and something of a favored vacation home for most of [[The Nine Realms]].
