The Spider-Family is a collection of individuals with personal or mystical connections to the ideologue which represents the concept of 'Spider', a notion of the predatory hunter who can trap or pursue with equal skill.
The two individuals closest to the avatar of the Spider are Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy. When they were bitten by a mutated spider, they gained many characteristics shared by other spiders.
