Every race acknowledges a Creator spirit of some kind and the idea that there is a component of a creature that persists past the point of death. Heaven is accessible to entities with rare and immense magical talents. It appears unique to each person, every vision of Heaven matching their concept of an afterlife and the just rewards for the life they've lived.

But it is, incontrovertibly, where the soul *goes* when a mortal dies.
