An offshoot of the Fae, Dwarves are not far distant from the Tuatha de Danaan. Dwarves are not as strong or magical as other races of the Nine Realms, but are craftsmen without peer. Only dwarves know the secret of forging weapons made of Uru, capable of sustaining powerful magics without being shattered by them. Odin's spear Gungnir and Thor's hammer Mjolnir were made by dwarven smiths.
