R'lyeh

R'yleh was one of the great and ancient cities of Atlantis. When Morgana Le Fay triggered the events of Ragnarok, her ancient home of R'yleh was the breaching point from which C'thulu emerged. A panicked conclave of magi, including Merlyn, the Vishanti, and the archmages of Atlantis, ralled what remained of their powers to seal C'thulu away. The Archmages sacrificed themselves to stand as eternal vigilant guardians of the sleeping Great Old One, and the tribe of Atlanteans known as The Black ensure the Archmages' rest is never disturbed.
