Power Dampening Collar

Long-term negation of metahuman abilities requires specifically built apparatus. In some instances physical restraints are required, but for many talents a special device shaped like a collar is used to suppress high-level capabilities. These devices interfere with the nodes of the brain that usually correlate to the psionic ability to utilize metahuman talents. However, purely physical capabilities such as immense strength often require a pharmaceutical option or a neurological impediment device that actively prevents full muscle utilization.
