Gaea was a refugee First God who discovered the proto-sapient Demiurge. Taking up residence there, she was the most influential of the newly named Elder Gods.
She is the mother of many of the young Elder Gods as well as the New Gods, those who were birthed when the Demiurge became self-aware.
