Genosha

A small nation north of Madagascar, Genosha has a history of lawlessness. No formal government claims it and it is not particularly valuable strategically. Possession cycles between petty dictators every ten years and it is most valuable as a port of call away from the coast of Africa.

Only two cities make up the residential areas: Hammer Bay and Carrion Cove.

In 2006, the Mutant Exodus began producing strange rumors. Genosha was a Promised Land, a place that welcomed mutants and allowed them to live there in peace. However, contact with Genosha is infrequent and difficult to sustain. There are some rumors that there is a darker truth to Genoshan society, as it is rare for someone to move to Genosha and ever return home. Still, the mutants that go there are not in their home nations causing problems, so the United Nations has spent little effort investigating the issue.
