Hippolyta

Hippolyta is the Queen of the Amazons of Themyscira. During World War II, she was one of the earliest members of the Defenders. She developed a close relationship with Steve Rogers during the course of their escapades. She remained in the mortal realm until the Purifiers threat was completely eliminated, then returned to her home with her sacred duty discharged.
