Refuge MUSH:Black Womb

Black Womb was a US Government project active from the 1940s into the early 50s. It examined familial lines for metahumans, trying to understand why metas were more likely to have children with active metagenes. Surrogate mothers were used to determine if the source for metagenes was patrilineal, matrilineal, or donated by the birth host.

After the war, it was rolled up into Project: CADMUS.
