Skrull Invasion

On April 18 2012, the Skrulls on Earth revealed a massive invasion force that had been lurking in the shadows since their spaceship crashed in Roswell. Hundreds of world leaders and people in prominent positions of power were revealed to be Skrull agents, and began a campaign to abduct hundreds of key individuals-- human and metahuman alike-- to study Earth's genetic makeup and harvest Celestial DNA.

Wayne Industries developed a sensor device that could detect Skrull agents using common handheld cell phones. In less than six months, virtually all Skrull agents were caught and forced to withdraw from Earth.
