View source for Refuge MUSH:Black Womb

Black Womb was a US Government project active from the 1940s into the early 50s. It examined familial lines for metahumans, trying to understand why metas were more likely to have children with active [[metagene]]s. Surrogate mothers were used to determine if the source for metagenes was patrilineal, matrilineal, or donated by the birth host.

After the war, it was rolled up into Project: [[CADMUS]].
