Gozer

Gozer was a potent New God, originally of the Annunaki pantheon. She was very active in early Earth history, worshipped by Mesopotamia and the Hittites. After the collapse of Yggdrasil following the events of Ragnarok. Gozer broke from the Annunaki and became a discrete entity unto herself, taking shelter in an unoccupied demesne where she found a gap in the multiverse's walls. Using this access, she began launching conquests of alternative Earths, taking on alien and hideous forms each time.

She often first manifests as a female, with a short red haircut, glowing eyes, and a sleek armor made of glimmering translucent chitin. She has also been known as Gozer the Gozerian, Gozer the Destructor, Gozer the Traveler, Volguus Zildrohar and Lord of the Sebouillia. Her two servitors, the Keymaster and the Gatekeeper, scout for invasion sites and then take possession of host bodies and force them to mate. The conclusion of this ritual opens the gate to Gozer's realm, giving her access to the world.

A cruel and spiteful deity, Gozer had an ideologuical harmony to the concept of 'destruction'. In particular, Gozer would take on a manifestation drawn from the consciousness of anyone nearby when she was summoned. Gozer then rampaged through the land, overthrowing entire buildings and leaving city-states utterly devastated. When she had concluded her work, the god returned to her demesne. Gozer would whisper to potent magi and the insane, prompting them to write down the summoning rituals to bring her to Earth. Inevitably, Gozer would sweep her own cultists up in her orgy of destruction.

Gozer was defeated in 1984 by the Ghostbusters and banished back to her realm.
