Wesley Dodds

Wesley Dodds was a modern prophet and a 'Mystery Man' active in the Chicago area in the 1920s.

Born 1916, Dodds' family moved the Chicago area shortly before he turned 16. He joined the Chicago City Police and became a rising star, making detective in just a few years. This was do in no small part to his strangely prophetic dreams that helped him divine the future as well as study the past, skills he put to use as a cop and a vigilante. He became infamous for using a full facemask and chemical equipment to put villains to sleep.

Dodds' protege was the vigilante known as The Question. Dodds suffered a severe stroke in 1954 that left him largely paralyzed, and died in 1962.
